Bhutan may be the world’s first smoke-free country — but visitors to the King’s royal palace may not be entirely free from the dangers of secondary smoke. That’s because tobacco is one component of King Jigme Singye Wangchuk’s gross personal happiness.
But when the whole world begins to sound like the wife, there is but one thing the smoker can do — promise to cut down on his daily quota. The Acorn, being a well-wisher of Bhutan, wishes his majesty every success in his endeavour.
