There goes the Beeb again, bending over backwards in order to make terrorists look less bad—even respectable.
Many people offered prayers for those killed in the attack (on Islamabad’s Lal Masjid) at another hardline mosque in Lahore.
The ceremony was organised by the Jamaat-ud-Dawa organisation - a social welfare organisation linked to the banned Kashmiri militant group Lashkar-e-Toiba - which has been listed by the US as a terrorist organisation. [‘BBC’ emphasis added]The ‘BBC’ deems the Jamaat-ud-Dawa a social welfare organisation, but the Lashkar-e-Taiba is a terrorist organisation not because it is one, or because the ‘BBC’ thinks so, but because the US has listed it as such.
