King Fahd of Saudi Arabia must be quite a confused man. Within a span of half a year, two distinguished gentlemen have appeared before him introducing themselves as the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and the third is on his way. It what has become a ritual of sorts, Pakistani leaders take the first opportunity to board a flight for Riyadh whenever they are appointed, self-appointed, self re-designated, about to be sacked or sacked for good, for that matter.
The bureaucrats drafting press releases have made their lives easier by using a common template and then merrily using cut-and-paste functions that modern word-processing software has made such a breeze.
