Not content with strangling the Nepalese economy, the Maoist terrorists have obstructed vaccination programmes that have put millions of children at risk. In a way, the Maoist terrorists are practising a form of biological warfare against innocent civilians. Besides, the Nepal Human Rights Commission holds the Maoists responsible for the deaths of 3000 children over the last 8 years.
Talks of a truce continue to persist, but with the Maoists looking for more than just political accomodation, Nepal is not likely to shake-off terrorism just yet.
