China too decides on a Strategic Oil Reserve

China too has decided to set up a Strategic Oil Reserve at a cost of US$725m, to be ready by 2010. It will hold about 70-75 days reserve of petroleum. I’m guess Beijing is preparing for a sustained US presence in the Middle East.{|<} This is an archived blog post from The Acorn.
