The Malaysian Link

By no means does Malaysia deserve to be on the same list as Libya, Iran and North Korea, and so it is disappointing to see its name cropping up again in the nuclear supply chain. Jeff Ooi and Aiseh, Man discuss this issue in their blogs.
This is an archived blog post from The Acorn.

Malaysia provides the Islamic world with an alternative template for development. Its system in not without shortcomings, but then no other Islamic country has put itself on a path of development and modernisation as firmly and in such as short time as Malaysia. Contrary to the din the fundamentalists make, most of Malaysia is peaceful and tolerant given its ethnic, racial and religious mix. Malaysia must protect this reputation as it is central to its continued success as a nation - it would do well to move beyond its initial denials and conduct a thorough investigation of the matter.
