Supari on the Internet
Yash Chopra’s
Supari has become the
world’s first feature film to be legally distributed on the Internet: available for download from
Kazaa for US$2.99.
This is an archived blog post from The Acorn.
For those who have broadband connectivity it probably means an overnight download. But $2.99 is a great price to sell the stuff. I’d rather pay 3 dollars to Yash Chopra rather than to the Pakistani/Malaysian pirates. Until now Yash Chopra never did give me an option.
