Battling separatists: Musharraf assured Hu that Pakistan would not harbour Muslim separatists from China’s western-most Xinjiang region. On one hand Munir Akram boldly announces Pakistan’s support for the Universal Declaration on the Right to Self-Determination, and on the other his boss assures the Chinese President that Pakistan wont support the Uighur right to self determination for Xinjiang.
